New here and looking into buying a Mustang
Hello everybody. I'm new here and basically I'm doing some research before buying my next car.
I currently driving 2000 Honda Accord EX-V6 coupe that I bought brand new 10 years ago and the car still running great but I want a new car. I might keep my Honda for winter driving but not sure yet if I will be able to do that. I'm looking for something more fun to drive and for around $30,000. I want a real sport car not something that looks like it. That only leaves me with three choices:
1. New Camaro 2LT
2. Genesis Coupe V6
3. 2011 Mustang V6
I test drove the Camaro, both V6 and V8, and waiting anxiously to test drive the new Mustang but none of the dealers around here have them yet
I'm planning to also test drive the Genesis but honestly not sure if I'm ready to drop $30k for an Hyundai.
Well that is my story and hopefully I'll join the Mustang club.

They say the interior of the Camaro feeling like a tomb, difficult to see all gauges...idn, haven't looked at them myself. But the 2011 V6 Stang should be good choice, comfy car, great stylin' and check your car insurance rates-Stang maybe the best choice.

Thank you guys. I finally was able to test drive the 2011 Mustang V6 today. I have to say it looks like Ford designed the interior just for me. I definitely felt very comfortable inside the car. The interior is way better than the Camaro and the car I drove is just a basic no a premium. One of my concern was if the rear-axle would feel too rough on not so good paved streets but after driving it is not an issue. I have to say though that the Camaro's automatic transmission is way better than the Mustang's. Even in non-sport mode, the Camaro would down shift by the lightest press of the gas pedal. The Mustang, just like my current Honda, requires that you press on the gas pedal all the way down, wait until it decides to downshift and only then will you see the car take off . Good thing I'm not looking for an automatic.
The Mustang is definitely on top of my list but I need to test drive one with a standard shift and hopefully with a 3.31 rear axle before making my final decision.
