New here. east coast stang racer.
Hey there. I have read this forum on and off for a little while and decided to join. I live in Virginia and race a spec mustang with NASA in the Mid-Atlantic region.
My wife and I own 4 mustangs and probably wont stop at that. We are researching mods for our 05 GT. This year I will be race prepping either the 88 or 89 fox and may acquire another 86.
My current race car is an 86. It is still being developed and hopefully will prove to be a class leader with a lot of hard work.

Thanks man.
I have to see what other pics I have. Below is what the 86 race car looked like when I bought it July 10th, 2006. The next pic is the 89 when it was still a Vortech blown street car. The last pic was the only one I could find of the 88 LX. I cant seem to find a good pic of our 2005.
More to come.

Welcome, great pictures and video.
How long has NASA been running a championship at Mid-Ohio?
Is your home track Summit or VIR?
(Hope to see some events this year at Summit Point.)

NASA had its innaugaral event at Mid_Ohio this past sept 2006. It was great. I am looking forward to 2007. I am hoping to be better prepared this year and not have so many issues.
My home track is Summit Point. Look for me in the paddock at any mid-atlantic event and at some other club events.

Thanks for the info, so I guess Mid-Ohio got NASA to replace the
run-offs. Never have been there, but it looks like a great course to
run based on the previous SCCA TV coverage.
If I make it up to the Point, I'll look for the yellow Mustang.
My youngest son (10) would love to get a close look at a race car.
Took my older son a few years ago, but have been back since then.
The last race we went to was when NASA held the first FFR challenge race.
Only 6 "roadsters," (can't call them Cobras anymore), entered, but they put on
a great show.

your Location says Gambrills, is that like gambrill state park area?
If you make it to Summit Point look for us at the far right corner of the paddock, still on the paved area but up against the tree line. Most of the CMC, AI, and FFR cars will be there. FWIW, find me and I will let your son sit in the race car and get his picture taken.
Next race at the point is june 23-24 and then in Aug and Oct.

Nope, zip code area near Annapolis.
Thanks, got to check out the summer vacation plan to see if we are at home or
on vacation that weekend.
Sounds like a great weekend to visit the track.
