New Guy with 2013 GT500

Hello everybody. I'm new here and new to mustangs. I ordered my Sterling Gray with Black stripes GT500 in April shortly after I got hired on by Ford and just picked it up on 9/27. Took it Saturday to get the windows tinted; 20% all around and 50% full windshield. So far I'm loving it...when it starts. It's not started on me twice in the 200 miles I've driven it. It lights up and the electronics all work, but no cranking. I'll be taking it in to get serviced once the rain lets up around here. Overall the car is a beast and I love the power and ride.

It's probably pissed that you tinted it's front windshield and welcome.

Har har har :P I love the front windshield tinted. I can't even tell at night that it is tinted, but you can't see in which is awesome. I think it looks perfect on the sterling gray.

Thanks everyone! I'll be getting a professional photoshoot done once the weather clears up here in KY. I love driving this car! Speed bumps do scare me a bit, but the car does sit kinda high, too high for my tastes anyway. If I do any mods at all then lowering springs and a panhard bar will be the first true mods to come.

Welcome to TMS, good luck with the new ride.
When it doesn't start, are there any fault codes ?

Like the color scheme! However I do have a question. Why do 20% on your other windows and 50% on your windshield? Why not do 20 or 50 ALL the way around? I don't tint my windshield, thats just me, but I would think it'd be better to have the lesser on your main viewing port and the more on your other view ports? I'm really just curious and not passing judgement.

Less is more with window tint. The lower the number, the darker the tint, not the other way around which I think you are thinking. So 20% means that it blocks 80% of light, which makes the side windows really dark. 50% on the windshield is barely noticable from the inside, but on the outside you can't hardly see int, if at all.
