Hi fomoco and Mustang fans! I have jumped around a few mustang communities and TMS seems to have the best group of fans and good tech tips. I just picked up my 5th mustang, a 2012 Boss 302 in RR/Bk with the Recaro/Torsen option and am just getting into road racing. I am a lifelong mustang fan, just haven't participated much on the forums before.
I have owned at one time or another:
2000 GT convertible Black & Tan - stock engine, all suspension mods and mufflers - traded for the Boss
1983 GT - intake, exhaust, normal cheap power adders
1972 Mach I (that's my son in the pic) - this was my first and had it from 1988-2005; when the 351 Cleveland died, I swapped in a 429 from a 71 t-bird, .030 over, roller cam, big holley, 225hp Nitrous shot, 4.11 rear, MT L60s - a good drag car, not much on the twisties.
1970 Mach I with a 390 (pulled from a wrecked 69), never made it on the road, was sold in project status.
