New 2014 GHIG owner

Hey guys! Name is Brandon, and I've been a long time Mustang fan. When I first saw GHIG I fell in love and knew I wanted one. I never expected to be in one so fast though, so I'm pretty excited. This is my first Mustang.

I picked my 2014 GT Premium with Track Pack, Electronics pack, Comfort pack and the appearance pack Labor day weekend, this past Sept. I flew from WI to Norkfolk VA for this car.

It was used when I got it, 5300 miles. It was an 1100 mile trip back home and currently is stored in my garage for the winter with just a touch over 9000 on the odo.

I come from a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3. Unfortunately, I was not able to race the Mazda against the stang. The mazda felt faster because of the power delivery of that turbo 4 cyl, but it was extensively modified and tuned. The coyote in stock form feels like it would at least keep up if not edge it out and it is stock.

Goals for my Mustang are up in the air right now, but a centri blower is high on the list, although staying NA with the CJ intake mani still appeals to me as it looks beautiful.

Enough babbling, any questions ask away. On to the pics. First is the day I picked it up in Norfolk. Then some driveway pics followed with a pic of my car in a 50 years of Mustang show that was held locally (one Mustang from each year).

Now that's a beauty! I'm thinking about the same two options for mine as well, NA with CJ or boost. Time and bonuses will tell

What do you drive all winter?

Great looking car!. That was my first choice in color when I was looking but couldn't find one locally. A few months after buying mine, a used one came up for sale locally. Actually looked just like yours with the black stripe and side scoop and louvers but had the black pocket wheels. If I would't have taken a hit on mine, I would have traded. Enjoy it.

But then I wouldn't have been able to drive it through the beautiful parts of VA and WV!!! Gorgeous scenery, the drive was almost therapeutic.

Its a tough choice, but I miss my turbo sounds, so it'll probably be boost. A centri and CJ could be an option too.

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra as my other vehicle.

Finding one local was not going to happen for me with my specific requirements. (GT Premium,GHIG, track pack) I found a good deal and booked flight. Best decision I ever made. Although, my second color choice was Sterling Gray. Almost pulled the trigger on a new one before I found my slightly used 14.
