Mustang at the Prom

As I was leaving for my prom, my older brother handed me the keys to his new Mustang and said "it's washed, it's gased and bring it home in one piece, will ya?" I couldn't believe it! Things havn't really changed much, it was a red 2+2, 4 speed, '65 fastback. I will never forget that in all my life.

Not only was your friends son pleased but I'm sure you were too. It really is a cool feeling when you let someone take your car for a special night. I was waiting for someone to bring that up....but at 16...lets see..his date was probably older since I guessing he is a sophamore..but come on ...I doubt it..did you see the kid's sun glasses??

I took a 97 Vette (the C5 was new at the time,) to my prom. I couldn't wait for my prom to end, so I could go out and see what the Vette could really do. Donuts, burnouts, burnouts in reverse, powerslides, you name, I tried it.

I laughed my rear off when I saw the police car in the backround. Nothing like a little reminder of who owns the cars and the consiquences of what will happen if it's not returned intact!!!!!

Just please, be careful and don't do anything stupid! You're car looks cool regardless of whether you squeel the tires etc. If anything, you'll look cooler driving it with class. Drive safe.
