Knew nothing much about Mustangs and customization. I found this while searching and founds tons of great pics and info. Especially the 'Gabe' thread in the SG section.

I am in the market. I was looking for info on towing and ended up here. I'm not sure what I'll buy but I have a V6 Premium model in mind. My house is needing repairs and general updating. My current ride can't haul much and either I go to something larger or add a hitch. It would be nice if the hitch came with a Mustang! A GT would be the first chouce but I need to concentrate on the house first. Sell the house and retreat to Florida in a 2015 GT?
The info on hitches and experiences towing is very helpfull. I have experience towing, but wasn't sure about mounting a hitch to a Mustang.
Anyone have issues dragging when backing or pulling into a driveway?
My roomate in college had a '66 coupe, with a V8 and auto, which he let me borrow on occasion. I've wanted one like it since. I owned a red '87 V8 manual notch for a while and gave it to my son. We both learned that a red car going fast is a ticket magnet. Next one will blend in better as I don't think I have slowed down much.

I recently began modding and while searching for info and pics of possible ideas, I've seen TMS pop up on many a search. With mine being a 05-09, most of the relative threads are pretty old lol. Nonetheless, everyone's posts have been very helpful.

I actually had heard that I might want to change my shifter after I bought my car. I did a search for Mustang aftermarket shifter recommendations and TMS was the first place I came to. The rest is history.

I am an old VN veteran that loves to stay busy. I have built and rebuilt hot rods and muscle cars all my life. First car was a 53 Chevy, then a 53 Studebaker Commander, a 1948 Ford a 55 ford, a 56 Ford crown Victoria.. I would find cars on the side of the road, buy them fix them up and if I made $10 bucks I was happy. I am rebuilding a 69 Corvette, but my little pride and joy is my wife's 2008 Mustang GT CS. This is the first car that has me going crazy on the wiring system! This car has 90lbs oil pressure, when cold, runs 12.6 volts of battery. Yet the gauges say, low oil pressure, and Check charging system. Had code PO109 which I fixed. Generator is putting out 12.6Volts. battery is new putting out 12.4. Amperes right up there. But that's my problem. Been married forever and I basically live in my garage. When I am finished with this Mustang if i ever find th problem, I am going back to a 32 Ford 5 window coupe with a 5.oKR Mustang engine and running gear. Enjoy these forums, nice to find out some things that I haven't learned. My job in the military was rebuilding Jet Engines and crewing on a C. I volunteered for every flying job there was. Nice to meet you all!
