Hi Friends... Nice to meet everyone!
Found I have a paint problem on our new to us Mustang, researching it led me here.
A little about us: We're a couple that retired in time to enjoy life a little. Live near the beach in South Jersey and Southeast Florida in the winter (well I'm actually semi-retired putting in my 40 hours every single month).
The Mustang is our summer car and it lives in NJ all year, sleeping in the garage for 7 months all through the winter, but it does get exercised on our occasional holiday visits. Bought it as a quasy Christmas present for my honey last December. Before that it was lovingly driven I'm sure by whomever rented it down in Florida for 18 months before I bought it .
I also have a 92 Carrera cabriolet (thats my baby) and it lives in Florida along with a Jeep Wrangler for the beach and doggie rides. Main ride/grocery getter/towing vehicle is a Tahoe that goes wherever we are.
Our main hobby is riding our Harleys, we have three, and have covered the Rocky and Smoky mountains as well as all of Florida and the Northeast, putting abut 25,000 miles a year on them. We have boats in both places so we get out on the water with some frequency too.
So whats Ford been doing about this paint issue? I will use the search engine until it needs an oil change!
