Hello from Maryland
Good Morning everyone, I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Well my 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 is probably the most powerful vehicle I have owned. I was between this and and the Corvette and selected the Mustang. Obviously the color for me had to be Black, like most other cars I have owned.
I was driving a SUV before this and was feeling NUMB especially after I lost my motorcycle in an accident, it seemed life will be boring. So out with the SUV and in with the Mustang. Oh boy! what a sweet surprise. Just out of the box I like the sound, I like the looks I like everything about it . The only funky thing is the manual shifter........not a huge fan of it. I baby it so I can actually go to second without having triggered the shift solenoid for skip shift, but still going into second in the mornings is a chore, it gets better later on.
I love this car.......... it is a hot car

It doesn't cost Ford 7 grand to put a 5.0 engine and upgraded suspension system in the same exact car as the V6. The 5.0 should only cost around 3 grand more than the V6. For 7g more on the same looking car, I would expect way more upgrades on base models to justify the price difference.

very good point. even if they did come down I still couldnt afford it, LOL. I paid 17,500 for my 07 GT w/ 47k miles and that is what I could comfortably afford. even with a Ford employee discount price, a new GT is waaaay out of my price range.
