Hi Everyone,

Recently bought a Mustang convertible for my wife's wedding present. I gave it to her the morning of the wedding, it was amazing.

I've been lurking for a few months, checking out everyone's rides and trying to figure out if I'm paranoid about rattles, clunks and whines or if they are all normal characteristics of the vehicle. We have a 2009 GT premium convertible with a 5sp manual and 19,000 miles.

Some things I've noticed:

1) Slight whine in transmission noticeable at low speeds. Not sure about high speeds because of all the other road noise.
2) When clutching to first I feel a clunk in the rear but not always.
3) There is a shudder in first at low speeds but not always. For instance I noticed it pulling into parking space.

I think that's about it. We took a road trip up the California and Oregon coast for our honeymoon and the car performed just perfectly. Looking forward to some future upgrades and meeting some local Mustang owners!
