Greetings from a mid life crisis
As the title suggests I am in the midst of my mid life crisis, so I bought a Mustang. I purchased my 2012 GT Convertible 2 years, or so, ago. And I've been fixing and sorting it out since. I've replaced the MT-82 transmission twice, rebuilt the front and rear suspension and am in the process of upgrading the front and rear brakes and overhauling the audio system. Being that it is a convertible, I only really drive when the weather is decent. This is fine because it give me something to tinker on during the months when you have to stay inside.
Looking for tips, some comradery, and to tap into the wealth of information that I am sure exists here. Glad to be here, hope to chat with you all soon.

Yeah, I have a feeling that the crisis started in my teens and has just been...progressing. I'm trying to find some decent pics to post, if all else fails you'll get some of it up on the stands as I am working on it currently.

welcome to the forum!
I bought my "mid life crisis" Mustang when I was 50 ... so that means I'll live to at least 100, right?
and I think the only real "crisis" was that I didn't have a Mustang, LOL

Welcome aboard and congrats on purchasing your 2012 GT convertible... As for mid-life crisis goes, I purchased my first S197 Mustang 19 years ago at 46 but have owned 6 prior Mustangs during the last 34+ years or so... Prior to 34 years ago, I was both a GM and Mopar owner, but always admired Mustangs since childhood nevertheless... Although, the mid-life crisis has since long passed, my passion as a Mustang enthusiast and owner has remained just as strong as it has since it began well over 34 years ago.

I started my mid life crisis at 16 to be honest. Still suffering to this day. I used to get many comments about my age and mid-life crisis but once people realize you have been a car guy your entire life and married to the same wife for 46 years, the comments stop.
Mine probably started with Mopars, then my first ever new car, an '82 GT at age 28, and I'm now 69 with 3 crisis machines. I've also had 2 Corvettes and a 911.
1971 Plymouth
1972 Plymouth
1982 GT. My first ever new car at $9,600.00.
3 crisis beasts now at 69 years old.
