We're definitely here to help and have worked with a variety of Mustangs over the years.

Welcome SharpHID!

I'm looking to replace the LED pony lights in my mirrors with the Bat Signal.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the boards. What color bulbs match the stock LED fogs on the 13'? The stock headlight HIDs are 4300k I think. The fogs look like they are at least 6K.

At this time we do not. We are expanding our LED product line but finding quality over quantity is taking time.

I'm not quite sure what you mean - do you want to replace the actual logo? Any photos of what you'd like to do?

I'd say 6000K is a good match for those LEDs. White LEDs are typically 6000K looking even if considered white. Remember that the 55w kits will wash out some of the blue so the 35w kits will appear slightly more blue than the 55w version.

See the pony projected on the garage floor? I want that to be the bat signal. The LEDs are in the bottom of the side view mirrors

I thought I read somewhere that they were LEDs. In person they are bright white not yellow at all. Either way, I think the bat signal would be bad ***.

You could pull the mirror cover off to see what bulb they are using. I wouldn't have thought Ford would use LEDs stock but it is possible.

To change the image that will be a function of the mirror itself. There is likely a cover with the image in it that is backlit by the bulb. Unfortunately we don't have any replacements for that other than the bulb itself. I'd pull it apart to start and see how the image is being projected. It may use a magnifier of some sort also.

I'd be interested to hear more about this if you end up getting it apart - some photos would be great. I imagine others on here would be interested to learn how this works on those vehicles.

I'd be interested to know bulb type is in there also. The Sylvania bulb look up tool isn't always accurate so I don't go off of that for this type of bulb.

Thanks,

John
