First time Ford Buyer

I bought my wife a 2017 white mustang convertible 10/29 and she loves it .Car has 1600 miles on it now, been in shop since Mon. they don't know what is wrong with it .Check Eng. light is on error code 765. Transmission will not shift. Reset and drove about 20 miles and light came back on. I am not a very happy camper. Has anyone else had this problem.

I would think a competent dealer could solve this easily. There is either a bad solenoid in the transmission or a problem with the wiring to the transmission.

The P0765 code is detected when the ECM energized solenoid and detected an open or shorted condition.

Possible symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Transmission will not shift gears.

P0765 Ford Description Shift solenoid valve 4 is turned ON or OFF by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the park/neutral position (PNP) switch, vehicle speed and Engine Control Module (ECM) (throttle opening). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position.
