My OD off light is blinking constantly

Started doing it today any ideas why it might be doing that. It also seems to clunk into all gears now. Everything seems tight u joint wise.

The OD light blinking is a code for transmission problems. Take the car to a Ford dealer that you trust and they can read the codes. It could be just a solenoid problem or it may be something worse but you need to get it checked out.

Thanks Ant! I'm wondering if they will have to pull the trans to get this fixed.

Replaced the solenoid pack 420 bucks for the parts. Total for the whole job 561.00 bucks included filter and fluid. The guy at the trans shop said it was a common problem with the fords. Pretty easy fix, drop the trans pan remove the filter and you will see the sol pack. Remove a few bore bolts remove bad part and reinstall new parts.
Shifts smooth as butter now.

The solenoid pack, does that pack contain all of the different solenoids that have have to do with the transmission? What trans shop did you take it to?

I am not sure. I believe it is one solenoid. I took it to a well known transmission shop. I forget the name of he place. It was in Orland Park IL
