From a first Focus in 2012 to a full garage with a GT convertible
Hello, All, from Calgary, Alberta!
When I cautiously purchased my first Ford in October 2011 (the all new 2012 Ford Focus Titanium), I fell in love with it very quickly.
So much in love I fell with it, I purchased two more Fords for my business (2013 Ford Focus and 2013 Ford Fiesta).
However, it was soon enough I realized I was ready to fulfill my long time dream: buying a convertible GT.
So, a 2014 Mustang in unbelievable Grabber Blue joined my little fleet.
Since we only get two months of real Summer out of the year, I am now slacking work left, right and center. My new car gives me so much, I do not think I have ever been so happy before!

That is a great story. Similar in some ways to mine. Glad you love it. Do you hit up the mustang club at the casino every week? Southwest. Cant remember the name of the casino.

Thank you!
You mean the Grey Eagle Casino? I didn't know they had a Mustang club. They have car shows every Wednesday. I better check it out.
So far, I take him to the mountains, and had a trip to Victoria last week.
He definitely enjoyed the new 120 speed limits!
Planning on going back in August. Do you have a club in Vancouver or Victoria?

I don't know if you would be interested, but I'm sure they would welcome a Mustang convertible.

We did this run when we had a Honda S2000 and had a great time.
Anyway, congrats on your Mustang. I sure love mine.

I enjoyed the drive through the Fraser Canyon. Good corners and low traffic. not to mention scenery.
Enjoy.

Yes that's the one. wednesday nights. The mustang club has a tent there. I took my vert there after i first bought her. We have a couple of clubs in the Vanc. area. Some big 500+ cars on display throughout the summer on the big weekends.
I enjoyed the drive through the Fraser Canyon. Good corners and low traffic. not to mention scenery.

I have already spoken with the Coordinator.
He told me they would love to see more muscle cars participating!
I am 80% attending.
Just need to tweak my schedule.
Thanks again!!!

Great! I'm still a member of the S2000 club and our Pacific Northwest chapter is hosting this year's national gathering in Hood River, OR. I've taken responsibility for organizing the group drives and will lead a couple of them in my Mustang at the end of this month. Fortunately S2000 owners are generally very easy going, so I'm sure you will enjoy the run if you are able to participate. Let us know - with pictures.
