Finally own a pony, hello from up north!
Hello everyone!
My username is Nikato and I'm a born and raised Alaskan. Yesterday (2/7/13) I finally marked off two things on my to-do list. 1.) Buy a car with cash and 2.) Own a mustang some day!
I purchased a Red 2011 Base 3.7 L Mustang Manual and I spent a good part of the day yesterday driving it around. It's got some highway miles (living in Alaska the towns are quite a distance between each other) but it runs and drives great. It's the basic red and I really want to mod it with some visual bling (a spoiler, new grill, black stripes), and put a better sound system in it along with some fog/running lights. I really am also wanting to get some new exhaust to make it rumble when I'm sitting at a light (I'm thinking the Ford Racing sport sounds good).
Anyways I know probably a dozen people post here a day saying hi so I know I'm not special , but I'm super excited! I have been saving for awhile with my wife to buy us both new cars, and now I have my own stang (she's wanting a cry 300).
I hope to learn a lot from people here and make my sexy stang even sexier!

I like in Anchorage. We just had a blizzard (the day I bought my stang) and I drove it from wasilla back home (about 60 miles) in near white out conditions. Needless to say, I love the traction in this thing (it has all season tires).
Yea! It will probably be a month before I do it (need to save up to buy things all at once) but I can't wait!
Now to try to figure out a way to make my sound system better.
