Hi galls and guys , new guy here from europe.
not an owner yet, but upgrading from lurker to writer to seek advice and car-to-buy.
Interested in possibly buying 2012 boss 302 or 2008/9 special tuner (roush, saleen, steeda) cars.
tx for reading, best of luck!

Welcome and I'm slightly jaded here but I'd go with a Boss as well!

Welcome to TMS. If you want something that will keep its value I would go with the Boss as well, Laguna Seca if you can find one. I do love my Roush, but I would really lean towards a Shelby if that is an option.

I totally agree with the other posters. IMO you cant go wrong with either the 12-13 Boss 302 or 07-14 Shelby GT500. Also welcome to TMS!

Guys, tx for the replies
My current thinking is to get a Boss... seems I could not go wrong with that one.
I am in Europe. Power is important, but handling is key. That makes the Boss a first choice, from what I know sofar the Shelby cannot be made to handle as well.
But if I could find a nice 2008/9 Steeda q350 N/A for good value, I might change my mind :-]
ps: This will be a driver, not a garage queen. I have plans for cortex suspension and watts links as well as steeda weightsaving pack (alu driveshaft) and apex 18inch to finish it off. Originality will not be on my mind altho it seems smart to keep all that I take off.
Should I mind higher mileage (40-80) or go for low as possible mileage????

IMHO If money is not a huge concern the lower the mileage AND the lower the number of previous owners the better.

The lower the better for both mileage and owners. That will minimize the chance of all kinds of abuse. I personally would not consider a car with that many miles on it over here. Not sure what is out there on you side of the pond.
FYI, I do not think that Steeda you are talking about will be as good as the Boss, Shelby, or the Roush for handling, and all have more HP.

I will say a one owner with 60k vs a two owner at 50k I'd lean towards the 60k JS.
