Yup, seperated by almost exactly 40 years. The build date on the 66 is April 18 1965.. Jan 26 05 is the build date for....well you know.

Congrats Rob.
Make sure that the elder has a talk with the youngin about the do's and don'ts of pony etiquette.
Does your '65 have pony interior?

Nice rides, man. Good luck with both of them! Any signs of sibling rivalry?

Or did you tell your new addition to respect it's elder? Awesome pair!

Excellent garage Rob. Congrats on your new car.

White 65 red 05 can't get much better than that.

Is your 65 a 6 cylinder car? The fender badge is covered up but the wheels look like the 6 cyl style. Like previously asked whats the interior on the 65.

The car is actually a 66. she was built in 65 hence the "close to 40 years" comment. In answer to your questions, she is a 289 V8 A code mustang. Yes, I have pony interior. I really didn't expect to get that much of a comment on big sister but if anyone is interested I put a website together some time ago. It is 66 Mustang . Thanks for all the congrats I need to go get dressed so I can drive to work. IN MY NEW MUSTANG!!!!! I love saying that.

Congratulations Rob...great car!

Makes those of us in the waiting room a little jealous.

Why don't you tell us a bit about the new purchase - what options you got, how long it took to get her, etc.?
