Yup, seperated by almost exactly 40 years. The build date on the 66 is April 18 1965.. Jan 26 05 is the build date for....well you know.

Is your 65 a 6 cylinder car? The fender badge is covered up but the wheels look like the 6 cyl style. Like previously asked whats the interior on the 65.

The car is actually a 66. she was built in 65 hence the "close to 40 years" comment. In answer to your questions, she is a 289 V8 A code mustang. Yes, I have pony interior. I really didn't expect to get that much of a comment on big sister but if anyone is interested I put a website together some time ago. It is 66 Mustang .
