Year One and JC Whitney, to name a few, right?
JCW has replacement floors for Camaro/Firebird, if I remember.

Sad to see you trade the SSP off for this......as long as you are happy though. I did just the opposite years ago.....back in College I traded my 280ZX for a Formula Firebird and I was working hard on it and had collected a ton of parts and had a built 400 ready to go in.....then I came across a 1988 5.0 LX...one owner and I dumped the Formula(couldn't get squat for it), bought the Mustang and I have never looked back and never been happier to be rid of that car...it handled well but it was a heavy pig.

Now I had always been a Mustang guy but this was my temporary excursion into the Dark side of Pontiac.....thank God I came to my senses.

Enjoy the car....hopefully the new owner of the SSP will do it justice.

lol...

actually my brother got the SSP, and unfortunately he is thinking of trading it to this ricer kid who claims to have a 4 cyl SSP hatch...

I will miss that Mustang, but I know another one will come along, plus I've always had a thing for the Bandit T/A

Variety is the spice of life. I've owned many types of cars from many brands. If the shoe fits, wear it. I'm considering to sell my Protege and get another (99-04) Mustang, though, V6 of course!

I've been considering alternate color schemes after visiting a Trans Am museum. White with a red bird has kinda grown on me... wonder what vice versa would look like?

Uhm,

Why is this Trans Am being posted on The Mustang Source?

Are we now the Trans-Am source?

OR What?

well its because I've been a member of this site for going on 4 years, and I have plenty of friends on here who have liked all the vehicles I've owned since I've joined here (whch Lord knows is a lot) Where is me posting this any different than the General Vehicles section, or the other Ford's section. I love Mustangs 'til death, but there are plenty other cars that interest me, and I will work my hardest to own everyone of them at least once, and I will continue to post them here for the people who want to see them.

Rant over... back to topic....

got her completely gutted. now the fun part begins: rebuilding...

the official diagnosis is both floor boards, passenger side 1/4, trunk floor, drivers fender, cowl panel, and minor repair to the tail panel.

Oh, that sucks. But then again, it's part of the hobby to let a project stand by for a while.
