Just got my 14 GT about a month ago. Been looking and searching all the forums to answer all my questions.


My car is stock except for the sportline springs it came with. Gotta have wheels first and trying to decide between CS40 Shelbys or FR500s. Staggered 20s


Next will be GT500 exhaust. Then a shifter. Been searching and reading til Im tired and cant choose.

 

If you're on Sportlines and all stock other than that, do yourself a favor and replace the shocks/struts and get an adjustable PHB before you do ANYthing else...

thanks. it has an adjustable PHB but the shocks and struts are stock. i will search the forum and see what to go with.

Well welcome back. Sooo....where did you stray off to? I would definitely MOD

 

After my second deployment I sold my 99 GT in 2010. This is my 4th one. 87, 96, 99 and now the 14. I love the car but seems it is so hard to choose on the mods. Especially the Shifter. I know everyone says MGW but i dont know if it is worth it for what i do. I do not race or autocross. I simply want good solid real short shifts.

Joker, first off thank you for your service. As far as mods go you should know by now since this is your fourth rodeo take your time and have a direction. As far as shifters go I can't help you there. I'm lazy, after getting out of my daily driver I don't want to touch a clutch LOL...
