Came from a couple hours away as a referral. We did the whole deal over the phone yesterday and she drove it home today.

No secrets, just treat the customer as you would want to be treated. Think long term as a career not as a quick score. Follow up, follow up, follow up. Everything else will take care of itself. Also DO NOT sepnd your time B.S. ing with the other salespersons, they do not care if you make a living and I do not know of any salesperson who made money talking to other salespersons. . Do what your manager says and take care of customers. And ALWAYS, I repeat ALWAYS spend at least as much time talking to the spouse/significant other as you do the other person.
