and I like the red sides on the hood scoop, defines the lines of the scoop

 

I definitely say fix the hood scoop and make it all white (except for the red stripe down the middle obviously). It doesn't look too bad how you have it now, and you could get away with it. But, you are going to have people who are going to look at your car like, "what happened there?" and think that whover did it messed up, or ran out of white vinyl. Not to mention it screams vinyl. If you fix it, it will at least look like a painted stripe-job from further away. Now it's obvious that it's vinyl from a mile away.

Well, finished the hood stripe but not going to post pics til I get the new wheels mounted. Anyone know where to get the spinner center caps for the Halibrands? i'm being told 4-6 weeks on those.

Not sure, but I'm guessing it's the Mustang Boss 429 hood scoop.
