I love my new 5.0 because its a true shadow warrior. My lotus draws way to much attention. People have taken pictures of it when I'm getting gas, rice burners and muscle cars challenge it at every light or drive up on my tailpipes to look at it. Also with the lotus stage 2 exhaust its way too loud that is when I open it up its so darn obvious that I'm trying to go fast.

On the other hand when i pull up in a gas station in the 5.0 after owning it just a week, several idividuals thought it was a restored old mustang. In fact I find it great that the stock exhaust is not very loud. I love driving around all the altimas, camrys, minivans etc. like they are sitting still on the road and not being loud. stealth--

The 0-60 and 1/4 mile times of the non supercharged lotus and the 5.0 are actually pretty close. The gas mileage of the lotus is a bit better. The depreciation of the 5.0 is much worse. You can't park a lotus on the street because it has no bumpers and people cant see it. The handling of the 5.0 is outstanding, although it doesnt give you the go-cart like Lotus kick.
So the 5.0 will be my dailydriver- u can actually hear the telephone, listen to music and run circles around 95 per cent of the traffic. I think I'll wait a while on the loud axel back exhaust.

There was a supercharged Lotus at the track session last weekend. It was loud and fast!! Awesome car.
