NEED HELP? Does anyone have a Glass roof 'stang? where the retractable sun screen has been ripped? not worknig properly because it has slipped out of the rail system or any other issues? BTW GLass Top IS very cool. Just this small issue with the sun shade/screen that came up last week. I spoke with dealer and was told to take car in, Is still under 3yr/36k factory warranty but have not had a chance to do so. will keep you posted as soon as I do and post the results.

 

I have one, no problems at all. How'd you rip it?

 

the screen has two small rail pockets on either side that run the legth of it. on the right side the rail slipped out of the pocket and as I pulled it forward it ripped it from the plastic part. the screen it self did not rip, it just came unglued from the plastic handle approx. 5-7 inches. I have no idea how to place the rod back in without having to take the entire thing apart. still need to take to dealer and see if it's coverd ill keep you posted

 

took it in to dealer and it was fixed free of charge. per dealer it is a common problem here in Houston, Tx. maybe because of the heat but they did not go into details. I was told that they have changed out a few in the past for same issue.
