1st Timer

Hello and thanks for the ad. I've had my 2011 V6 Mustang for a few weeks now and have already added some cool accessories. She's got Borla Axle Back Exhaust, BBK Shorty Headers, Airraid CAI, and a Bama 87 tuner. I installed new H13 Sylvania headlight bulbs, an AM clutch extension, tinted windows, Web Electronics 1 touch blinker, and a new shift know from CJ Pony Parts. This is my first Mustang, and I only drive her on the weekends and sunny days. Here's a question for ya, is there a way to adjust the headlight height? They seem to be aiming low, and at dusk the distance being illuminated does not seem appropriate. Any warranty on mild bubbling of the front of the hood? For a 2011 with 45,000 I can't hardly believe it's bubbling. Last issue is the light is shining through one of my sterling wheel buttons wear it's been worn off, any warranty here? Thanks. I havent given her a name yet, but her plate reads GOOD TMZ.

Thanks, Terry

Welcome!

You've done a lot in only a few weeks. There are quite a few threads talking about the bubbled paint on the hood. If it's still under warranty people have been able to get Ford to fix it. The steering wheel buttons is another thing you will have to get with the dealer and see if it can be fixed under warranty.

I'm not sure how to adjust the headlights as mine are still stock.

Thanks for the help Mav. I've only added the last half of that, the sentence starting with the bulbs. The rest was on the car when I bought it. My favorite ad so far (that I've done) is the shift know.

You can check with dealer but don't expect anything, The bubbling is because of primer adhesion to the aluminum hood. This issue is common. Almost all Mustang owners I know have had this happen. Most body shops can handle it.
