Ready?
1986 Ford(Found on Road dead weekly) Bronco. Keeping in mind, this was supposed to be a restoration, instead the blasted thing is dangerously close to sending me bankrupt:I swear I hope Overhaulin takes it.
TWO new motors(one rebuild, one new)
New Transmission
New drivetrain something- I swear to you the blasted thing that holds the something under the truck together snapped in TWO!
You get into when is enough enough? You will never make back what you put into it, but you have to keep putting into it to keep it on the road.
Non essential
New Tires
New Stereo System
New Seat Covers
1999 Olds Alero:my lovely problem child:
New brakes yearly
New alternator, waterpump, serpentine belt, intake manifold+gaskets, axles, wheel bearings, Fuel injector(next up-scheduled but not done)Radiator(next up also-scheduled but not done), and thermostat....
What vehicle have you had that you only repair to see what will break next?

93 Lincoln Mark VIII. Fun fast car, but every darn gadget in the car was broken, intermittant, or on the verge. I suppose it is Ford's R&D platform vehicle. Glad I bought cheap and didn't get stuck with the $43k new price.
My only car, so its my only problem car
Window regulators...dropped the front windows into the doors, like, 5 times
Rear brakes disappeared around 20,000 miles(seems to happen on all Jettas)
Tranny crapped out around 40,000 miles(probably from that accident)
O2 sensor replaced at least six times
Driver door doesn't open from the outside
And there's at least two dozen repair notices that I have yet to take care of...

50k mi
my '92 nissan maxima.
i should have read up on the car before buying it. it was clean as a whistle, but had 100,000 miles on it. 3 years with it and the transmission fails. i read up on it after, and allll '92 maxima owners report a trasmission failure by 100.000-120,000 miles.
another problem i could have avoided, the Bose speakers failing on me. only one went cuckoo, but was easily fixed.
there were a couple of times some hoses got loose.
the odometer stopped moving at around 120,000 miles lol
the cost of fixing the car was just going to be too much for me. so i bought a crudy, almost riced up '92 nissan sentra

My only car...so my biggest dang ol' problem man...
Bought the T-Bird with 75K on it, clean...very clean. Then about 2 months later the engine freaks out and my valves and gaskets, and cyclinders were all covered in grease and oil. Something blew, and no one could figure it out. There goes about 4G's for a new motor.
Now...
Pulls to the right so much, you can't take a drink with one hand before you are in the other lane....windows are freaking out, engine light comes on, and no one can figure it out (just this week, I spent almost 1G's)....It's pissing me off badly!

89 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Anyone with a late 80s early 90s GM vehicle knows that changing rear disc brakes on these cars is a @#$#4@&
nightmare. So much for a hour brake job, its still in pieces from yesterday. I think I'm gonna burn it to the ground.
Had to vent.
Guess I'm lucky, haven't had a problem car yet.
I've owned so far, in order from oldest to newest:
86 Ford Taurus (ok the tranny crapped out on this one, but I got if for free from my brother, ended up taking it to the junk yard, so I spent no money on it)
94 Mitsubishi Precis
96 Saturn SC1
02 Mercury Cougar

Mine is a European one :
1998 Renault Laguna, 1 week after owning it, the timing belt snaps ($1500 to repair valves and pistons), leaking door seals, replaced by Renault three times before deciding it was a design fault! Battery connectors corroding (again, design fault), Central locking goosed, When driving at night, the headlamps had a habit of turning off (great when travelling at 65 on an unlit road!), Brake discs every year.
Sold it in January this year, let someone else pay to keep it alive!!!! Got my Muzzy now though, no problems yet (touch wood
)

1997 Dodge Dakota. Cracked manifold after 15k miles,A/C drained on the floor in the cab.Front bumper paint came completely off amongst a multitude of other crap that went wrong. I ended up getting it replaced via lemon law...but it wasn't easy to say the least!
well lets see my $100 90' 4 banger notch
i bought it with a burnt valve
replaced the head with ported version from racer walsh and a N/a cam
and a header two weeks later the tranny went
so i went to the junkyard and pulled a ranger tranny
not a week after that the motor mounts went
and the last draw was when the not more that 2 month old timing belt broke it was a love hate relationship at best
i bought it wuith the toughts of converting it to a stick and using a turbocoupe turbo set up
but id had enough with it so i sold her for 800

1984 Mercury Marquis. Chronic overheating, freeze cap blew 1000 miles from home, lost the heater core in Indiana in the winter, rear bumper nearly ripped off towing an empty trailer (had to have it reinforced). The car finally gave up and threw a rod right in the middle of what I believe is the world's longest bridge, over Lake Ponchetrain, just outside New Orleans. Sold for scrap and good riddance!
