Congratulations, Grasshopper: You have achieved enlightenment!
Years ago, my favorite steak was a rib steak. Rare! Then the meat cutters figured that they could make more money by deboning (ouch!) that steak and selling it at a higher price as a "ribeye". Now they are onto a new marketing ploy: leaving the bone in place and calling them "bone-in ribeyes"! Gimme a break. Anyway, I like to gnaw on the bone a little before I fling it out in the back yard for the coons to fight over. Makes us both happy.

I'm a Porterhouse man, but its only a T-bone with a wider measurement.
When I get a cow slaughtered I make sure to get porterhouse cuts, and the ribeye is my next favorite.

We often have a whole cow ground up, and its the best burgers that you'll ever have.

I love ribeyes, but I like New York Strips too. Both cooked medium!! With some Heinz 57.

Now I want a steak, and I just ate breakfast!!

Porter house, marinating in garlic olive oil and a little salt while waiting to be room temp. Grilled medium.

Sounds good. Lately I've gotten fond of this combination. I don't marinate them, but right before I put them on I use just a light splash of Dale's and rub it around on them, then rub them with olive oil, add a light sprinkle of Montreal steak seasoning and a few pinches of rosemary. Good stuff, great flavor, really enhances the the beef flavor without overpowering it.

Caressing, rubbing, savoring the flavor and enjoying that feeling of being filled up from a big thick piece of meat could be a wonderful experience for some people.

Me either. Probably because I'm a fat ****. I love the flavor but I would have to eat about 4 of them to get full.
