Better get your wallet out. A 12 year old BMW with technology that wasn't ready at that point (the trans) is going to be in the shop more often than not. And as you can ask Paul, BMW repair costs are never cheap.

 

Enjoying another quiet day at the ranch. You know its peaceful when 7 out of 10 horses are laying down snoozing. The alpha stallion is on duty (of course), a gelding and a mare, but the rest are in dream land enjoying the sun.
