I just don't think I'm going to be able to make it, too much going on and the opportunity came up to close to the last minute.

I never made any plans, reservations, etc. because I was supposed to be gone to the Gulf, then I had to postpone that at the last minute. So last weekend I thought about coming on over and trying to find a place somewhere nearby to stay, but as of today I've got another car in the shop, both of the Mustangs are filthy and I'm hurting too bad to clean them up. I just don't think I'm going to be able to make it, too much going on and the opportunity came up to close to the last minute.

I appreciate the offer, but I just don't think I can work it out. Its just too late to make other arrangements for the stuff I've got going on. And as bad as I'm hurting this week, I don't think I could walk far enough to get around and see much.

I don't know how I've managed to get away from family and work but the 50th is a once in a lifetime kind of thing and I swore when I missed the 45th I was gonna go no matter what
