Stew beef over rice here. Was good but a bit salty. My patents don't seem to know how to use salt or butter in moderation. Good thing I do most of my own cooking.

What they did to Steve! They took his company, Arthur was a d!ck to him. He hired John sculley to be apples advertiser and when Arthur offered, he happily took Steve's job as CEO, everyone abandoned him, and several years later, when apple started to go down hill, they wanted him to come back! Amongst other things...

 

Wait a minute... it was no longer "Steve's" company after it went public. It then belonged to shareholders. And they would only put up with so much stuff. He - like many geniuses and founders - could be a first class jerk to everyone around him. Geniuses, founders, jerks, are usually not the best business people.

You are forgetting that Gates was beating Jobs brains out in marketshare back in the day. Gates embraced open model PC's whereas Jobs stuck with the 'betamax' closed model. (If you're old enough to remember the VHS vs Sony Betamax wars.) Apple still is a closed model and open model Google is trouncing them in smartphones/devices.*

You might want to research some business history/Annual Reports to shareholders to balance out the hollywhack revisionist version you just ingested.

Charlie, you have demonstrated your wisdom time and again in these threads. Add this one to the list. The stoopidest part was when the ghost shark somehow busted through the PVC pipes under the sink and gobbled up the plumber. Now I don't mind a few ghosts in the movies I watch, but I'll be drawing the line if any of 'em are freakin' sharks from here on out.
