For me it was Indy..I got way more excited about this than the star wars series.
Indy is the consumate action hero. Raiders of the lost Ark to me is the perfect watch anytime enjoyable movie that still to this day brings tears to my eyes when i hear that theme song. I saw it in the theaters 33 times and have probably seen the movie thousands of times at this point in my life.

BM, I agree...I was born in '79, so I saw Indy at an age where I was young enough think that it was real. The series is amazing anyway, any given time of day I could watch an Indy movie all the watch through

I can't vote. These didn't excite me.

I was all geeked out 'bout Star Trek: The Motion Picture Director's Edition. Finally, it was finished! 24ish years later.

Was Wise wrong to have wanted to change the original? Not in my book, it was teh worth the wait.

However, on topic, of the two, Star Wars, man.

I went for star wars, but it was a close call.

We used to spend December 26th round at my Uncles house watching either Indy or BTTF, every boxing day..........

It was real close for me. But I think Star Wars edges Indy out buy a hair.

i picked mr. jones. never really likes the star wars.

i still remember that scene were indy is about to fight this one guy, and the guy is all showing off his moves, twirling his sword around for like minutes. then indy just pulls out a gun nonchalantly and shoots him dead funniest moment. ever
