LASD. Keeping the streets safe...or something like that.

Hey Gabe I worked for Target for a while and it was a great job. Worked as many hours as I wanted (normally about 30 hours as I had another part time job), pay was on the lower side but the people are very nice and the hours are flexable. Just an idea

Thanks for the tip, but after having worked at a Caldor many moons ago for over 3 years, I don't really wanna get back into that kind of retail anytime soon.

I actually started working for Billet Technology as a forum liaison for them on 2 different forums ... it's a part-time gig, couple hrs/day, easy work from my computer at home ... not bringing in huge bucks but it helps and it's easy work.
I plan on moving to Florida by next year, close to where they're located and the owner already told me she'd have a full time position for me whenever I do that
She's become a great friend over the last few years ...

Find something else before you get stuck in it forever. Trust me man, its a good fall back job if something else doesn't work out but raising a family as a mechanic sucks.

Thank you you'll find something. There always seems to be a demand for accountants

I'm a welder first and foremost, but I'm trying to learn some of the CNC machining stuff. Boss man is sending me to some classes in August and letting me run simulations all day while we're slow.

Currently I'm a stagehand, soundman, lighting guy, rigger, etc, basically if it has almost anything to do with shows/concerts on stage that's what I do.
