Weird Emails WTF

Hello,
Let me apologize on behalf of Steeda to anyone that was emailed during the upgrade.
There was not a huge number affected by the email - the server that sent out the old information was a back-up to a back-up server.
This was an unfortunate situation but we want to assure you, things have been taken care of on our end to prevent this from happening in the future.

Why did the emails come from someones gmail account and not a Steeda account? Also, why did no one reply when emails were sent to the gmail account questioning the original email?

I got the same bogus email today
Scary thing is it had my correct name, address, cell phone, and email
I knew it was fishing or something and didn't click anything on it but I was a little concerned about how they had all of those things correct. I mean how do they have the cell phone.

I think that's how your account & especially your cell act gets hacked , keep an eye on your data usage people.
The email is from Steeda. No one had their cell account hacked.
