That's horrible and I would be upset too. The person you talked to may have been at a service center not near you and just pulled up the tracking number. That one digit can be a totally different post office.

It's a shame people don't see some of the stuff we do that saves a lot of bad addresses and such. Good supervisors would go a long way too. Most of our problems are self inflicted.

No, Ups has a Saturday only service. Only reds get delivered on Saturday

He doesn't get enough allotted time to search out misaddressed packages. He gets roughly 180 seconds to get from one deliver to the next deliver. That means once he sets the package down, the clock starts and he has 180 seconds to drop the package at his next stop.

528 million — number of mailpieces processed and delivered per day
22 million — average number of mailpieces processed each hour
366,000 —average number of mailpieces processed each minute
6,100 — average number of mailpieces processed each second
226.7 million — pieces of First-Class Mail processed and delivered
262.4 million — pieces of Advertising Mail processed and delivered

It's 98% weightless worthless junk. Why else do you think the USPS will be no more within the next 10 years? Email and online bill pay is your destroyer...sorry man the USPS doesn't have much time left. Come over to UPS

Well we deliver it all on Saturday. Not just special stuff. Grandma is happy to get her meds on Saturday. I've got a close friend that's a UPS driver and he works his but off. He makes good money and has Saturdays off. I'm jealous of his Sat. off.

I get the feeling your in management.

We carry 211.7 million MORE First Class pieces of mail PER DAY than you carry all together per day. Not junk my friend.

Packages, letters, magazines can all be first class.

I don't bash the UPS.

Best wishes.

Just want to say that it's not important because it's first class that just means someone decided to pay extra money for what ever they want. To be honest I don't care who delivers more when the bottom line is getting the actual delivery done fast, done right so far the only people that's been able to do both for me is UPS.

I'm not bashing them, but you guys are in trouble. Every mailman on my route seems very scared of the future.

Lol yes and I do like them. I like ups too though. Once USPS did stuff a textbook I ordered into my mailbox. That wasn't cool, but I got no beef with either
