Trolled by friend at ABC News this morning.
So I have a friend that works for ABC News, and she posted this very official looking blurb about my employer this morning, and tagged me, unassumingly because of my employer. Until I read it.
I censored my last name, cuz I like a little anonymity.
"WASHINGTON (AP) -- Releasing its newest analysis of East Asian and Pacific economies, the World Bank said on Monday that the region continued to be an engine of global growth, growing at 7.5 percent in 2012 - higher than any other area in the world.
The World Bank projects that as the global economy recovers, regional growth in Asia will rise moderately to 7.8 percent in 2013 and ease slightly to 7.6 percent in 2014.
Speaking in Washington, World Bank East Asia and Pacific Vice President Axel van Trotsenburg, described East Asia and the Pacific as, "the most dynamic region in the world."
But according to World Bank IT expert Danielle Brio, "The most dynamic region is wherever I can get my Mustang past 75mph, boyyyy!" Ms. Brio then drove off.
In Japan, van Trotsenburg said the World Bank was waiting to see the impact of a series of stimulus measures taken by the new government.
While still fragile, there are signs of a turnaround in real activity in high income economies, thus external demand for the East Asia and Pacific region's exports are expected to stabilize this year."
Kinda funny, right?
