I am sitting at work, listening to K-fog San Francisco through the internet and the Top Gear theme starts. I have never heard this on the radio anywhere before!

Oh, Doug, it is called Jessica by All Man Brothers (I am sure you asked me that question in the past!)

 

Ahh, the Allman Brothers! Great Southern rock band, a pioneer in the field. Rolling Stone put Duane Allman (Guitarist, founding member) at 2nd on their 100 greatest guitarists list. May he rest in peace.

James, if you liked Jessica, I highly reccomend you listen for the songs "Rambling Man" and "Whipping Post". Oh, and look for the CD "The Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East"!

The guys just recently played a show about 45 minutes away from me, but I didn't get a chance to go.

The theme on Top Gear is done up alot more than the origional Allman Brothers rendition. Its a great song, and all of the Allman Brothers music is great. One of the greatest music groups period, of all genres.

 

I personally prefer TG's remixed version of Jessica but i can't find that version anywhere
