I think Top Gear is slightly starting to get old......literally.

Except for the ridiculous Camaro comparo the episode was great, quite funny as well!

 

This week's episode made me laugh. I'm glad is a turn-around from last week.

 

The Audi-Porsche comparo was great! I`ve never seen Jeremy so....sensible.

 

"James May's" reaction when being driven around in the convertible was absolutely classic. Too bad they overdid the hair bit though.

 

I am still stunned by this. Can he even reach the pedals?

Episode 5 was the BEST so far!!! WOW!!! SIARPC was hysterical! Only wish they joked with him about his height!! About the Bug, I really didn't realize that the Veyron SS is almost a rebody. I thought it was just tweeked and repainted. That front shot of the current Veyron and they cut to the SS in the same spot, shows just how different the body is, the shapes, and how much more aerodynamic is it and such. LOVED watching James go 416 kph!! NO MORE CAPTAIN SLOW!!!

And lastly, that piece on Senna? One word...BRILLIANT!!! I got chills watching it. The ending was the best, saying goodnight and just fading off into black with no music!! WELL DONE guys!!! Can't wait for next week!!! Very soon the 458 Italia should be showing up!!!

 

Agreed - that last episode was one of their best! The whole show was great - and they did not drag anything on too long either. Kept them good, informative, short - and ENTERTAINING!!!

I just do not believe that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz did that sort of lap times....i mean they are moviestars...get what i mean?

 

So were Steve Mcqueen and Paul Newman.

 

And James Garner.

 

What im trying to say is that The top gear crew probably gave them one or two seconds....from respect.

 

458 Italia - so good, even Jeremy Clarkson forgave the "flappy paddle gearbox" and the questionable features. Makes me want to see how well (or not) the McLaren MP4 12C will be received and how it compares. The British sports car challenge was kind of sad. Surprisingly, they did better than expected. Maybe.
