Tatoos are a fad that will be on your body long after the trend has passed. It used to be Navy guys from WWII that got them overseas when they were too drunk to remember. Those things don't look to good when your 75 and your body is all wrinkled. Just my 2 cents.

4 tats here.

Superman S on left shoulder
American flag Superman S on left shoulder blade
Steer head (like the Texas Longhorns logo but more detailed) on right shoulder
Concho with feathers below the steer head.

None of them hurt very much at all. The long pulls hurt a little but the coloring in did'nt hurt at all. My brother got a Chinese symbol with flames around it on his calf.......He was in tears during that one.

Whatever you ultimately decide to do, just be sure you can live with it. The best advice I've read on this thread was about being careful when it comes to job interviews. I worked as a sales manager for a company near San Diego, and the policy there was absolutely never to hire anyone with a visible tattoo.

I think Thug Life would put you out of the running for a lot of occupations. I don't want to come across as a stick in the mud, but that's real world experience talking.

I got prices of anywhere between $140 and $160. I ended up paying $140 for it. The less color you have and the smaller it is the less expensive. Say if you got the Ford logo just in black it will probably be like $60. The downside for you is that you have to be 18 to get one. Plan ahead and make sure you get something that you really want.

This will be my next tattoo, not till after the baby comes though (it's the boys name in greek and I do not want to tempt fate). Thanks to Bill (Maverick128) for getting me the Greek spelling:

And thanks to Burningman for transforming it for me into exactly what I wanted using his infinate pshopping skills :worship: :worship: One small change needed, but I think it is great!
