I always park in the back of the parking lot for one single reason! Why does everyone feel they have park next to the car!
Can't they go blow off a bridge or something.

HAHAHAHAHA! Happens to me all the time. I park a mile away from the entrance. Come back out and there's a car RIGHT next to me. With 20 free spaces there too

From: CenTex...sort of
I've gone out of my way (and out of my wallet) to add a 3M film on the edges of my doors so if my wife opens the door too wide when she's getting out and it contacts the car next to us (if we don't have the option of parking away from others), then the other car won't be marked with the paint from my door. I've strongly considered adding the film to the entire door to prevent paint rubbing off if someone dings me, but it won't protect against damage to the door panel itself. I'd still have to take it to a dent repair place if someone hammers it.

I just wish people would show enough respect for others' property that this kind of thing (parking in the boonies) wasn't necessary.

I always do this (in both the Mustang and our Mini) and 9 times out of 10, there is a big ol' truck or SUV (or two) right next to me when I get back... So frustrating... My '05 was keyed and egged (a few times), my '06 got the top vandalized... Nothing yet on the '13 (knocks on wood) as it spends most of its time in the garage, but it's only a matter of time really...
