Some Shocking news
#1
I went to my insurance company and presented them with 2 cars I had on my mind to buy.
1: 2002 Mustang GT
2: 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T
I wait for an hour and I came back to the insurance company to pick up my quotes. They weren't too good. There was only an 8 dollar difference monthly between the mustang and the stratus. So now i am left with very few options
1: Sell the car
2: Save money through 05
3: Keep my car
2007 is when I claim my inheritance. If you guys have any ideas I'd love to here it

There are two items that most overlook when choosing a car: the 0 - 60 times, and, how it sounds. The rest is irreverent because they all fall in place. Follow this advice and you'll be happy. You can count on it.

Whatever you do....don't buy the Dodge or else in a year or two your gonna run into so many problems and gonna have to do a dealer buy-back, if it hasn't already. Dodge's are crap!!! Go with the 02 GT if ya have to. Like Matt said.....2007 Cobra..'nuff said!

I have 1997 Dodge Intrepid (with every option Dodge offered on Intrepid in 1997). Sure, it does have some mechanical problems at 84,000 miles (then again, so does 2000 Ford Mustang with 26,000 miles), but man that car is so fun to drive. Love it.

Wow I didnt think I'd get alot of replies to this. Lalo my inheritance is invested and it gains money monthly and its currently at 85K. I've got this to think of when it comes to the inheritance. 2 cars, one for me and one for my girlfriend. supping them up, some goodies ( Plasma TV and so on) and maybe a wedding, plus saving for retirement.
the GP has been reliable so far so I can live with it. I just need to find me a stick beater to learn manual shifting.
Thank you all for your input

i wish i had saved up all of my money that i have used up in my life. wow, all that money i could have had today if i had saved it instead of buying baseball cards, video games, die cast models, fast food, junk food, and clothes
i would probably have enough to buy me a mustang or two by now

Yeah around my town there are some good deals going around for beaters. I wouldnt care if it was off color or what as long as its manual and it will run fine for about 5K miles then I'll go for it. I got a few ideas running through my mind right now about my future. I always keep myself open to possiblities.

Today ,while i picked up my g-ma from the local chevy dealer, I saw a black with gray interior V6 mustang 1996 5-spd. They are selling it for 6,000 and tomorrow i'm gonna check out the insurance on it and keep searching for a job. It may be a v6 but a Mustang to me is about looks than the motor.

it may be me, but i think 6,000 for a 1996 V6 is overpriced. you might find cheaper ones on ebay. Keep searching, Derek
