I remember those days, we had 4 channels 1 was a local channel (4, 6, 8, 13). Then when Fox started and we couldnt get it because we didnt have the right antenna. Uhf or Vhf. Or if there was interference you would get a snowy picture.

I also remember a couple of my best friends got cable, and my parents were too cheap to get it. I'm not paying for TV its free. lol.

Do you remember when you family bought their first color TV. That was a big deal.

 

Yeah...cable was a big problem in our house. Our parents wouldn't pay for it, and because we lived 20 miles from everyone, they didn't want to drag us to and from our friends' homes every day. When I was little, cable tv was "that one thing you wanted most" for a long time.

Funny, I have satellite tv now and had a horse then...I'd trade the tv for another horse in a heartbeat.

 

Yum....a Gino Giant! They reopened a Gino's here. It isn't near me so I haven't been but I know plenty of people that went out of their way for a little blast from the past.
