for the past few years tornado`s seem to take a path directly along the Tenn / bama state line .. odd that they travel directly due west to east .. Hazel Green had another one on the ground for a bit .. if you hear New Market in the way that would be me ...

For sure. Jackson and DeKalb counties have been hot beds for them.

are`nt the Cicadas' amazing .. the whir these things make is driving me crazy .. ( some folks call it a buzz i call it a whir UMpH )( see avatar ) .. i thought for several days it was an AC unit on a house down the street going out but yesterday i went down there on my bicycle and no matter where i went the noise stayed the same coming from every direction .. i googled it up and found that an acre of wooded land can have up to a million and a half of these critters on it .. i have a acre of woods .. these are smaller than i am used to and i think it is because these are the thirteen year variety versus the 17 year kind .. there is a zillion little holes in my yard whence forth they came and after they do their stuff they go back into the ground till 2037 .. living on tree roots .. little half size skeletons are everywhere .. these buggers are mean looking with their big red eyes ..

nearly 600 $ spent and just a little bit closer to a 5 speed .. the clutch disc is wrong .. its` a 10 spline and i need a 26 spline ,, oh well another trip to ebay land .. i dont have any bolts to bolt all this up with .. i had to drill the trans bolt hole out to accept bigger bolts .. i guess being a big block bellhousing may have caused that .. no biggy i hope .. the flywheel is about 100 lbs .. i cant pick it up to put it in place but it is for a 4.3 ,, i joined an S10 forum for a moment hoping to get a few pointers but they did not know any more than i do .. it occured to me later that an S10 did not come with a T5 trans .. maybe a C10 forum could have helped but i`m beyond that now ..

What trans did they come with? I thought it was a T5 too. We built a couple V8 s-10s but none had a manual trans and we put 700r4s back in them.

you are correct.. they came with a T5 as well .. the T5 they use has the shifter mounted way too far forward to work in a normal car .. the Camaro T5 has the shifter in the normal position at the rear of the trans

i have given up on becoming a cotton magnate .. the first bunch i tried several weeks ago i let set in the dark too long and they grew too much that they could not survive after setting them out ,, the second bunch i tried i bought a sprouting system from wallyworld and they looked great ,, put them in a growth pod . add a drop of water and watch them grow .. they were great and i set them out and it rained for forty days and forty nights and finished off with a dime size hail storm and pounded them into oblivion .. one more attempt a few days ago led to my neighbor deciding to do some weed eating on my property and he mowed down every plant i had established .. and of coarse all the farmers in the area are planting corn this year ..

Sounds like you need to follow the lead and plant corn. Then make shine with it.

you know its hard to upload pictures from a camera that has no pictures on it .. i picked up the wrong unit .. HA ! .. i am at the point of trying to figure out how to make the ford cable type clutch arm work with the chevy fulcrum type bellhousing .. i`m pretty sure i will get it i just dont want to get it wrong on the first try .. i have to drill a hole on the left side of this bellhousing for the pivot ball .. it looks like i can drill straight thru the housing and into a meaty part of the trans and just tap some threads into it .. i probably will have to do some modifying on the arm .. i cant get the chevy throw out bearing to fit the ford arm yet so i may have to get a ford throw out bearing and see if it will ride on the T5 chevy trans collar .. it should .. both are T5 s // i mean ford and chevy used the T5 .. then comes the clutch cable issue ..

i need to go by KennyG and see if he has a 5.0 T5 cable clutch type bellhousing laying around so i can get a measurement on how far the clutch arm pivot ball is from the center of the bellhousing .. or if any one else can give me the number center to center otherwise i`m gunna eyeball it .. i dont know a thing about this trans i have but every where a gasket was there is red RTV sealing it up ,, someone has been in it before ,, i really just want the 5th gear of it as no matter how low i gear the rearend it still works to be about a 4;10 with the tiny tires on the rear .

Willie, I asked a T-5 guy if he had an old Ford Fox body T-5 throw-out bearing and I never got a straight answer. I suppose that if you haven't got one at the local parts store, you could pick one up. Just save your receipt to return it if it doesn't work.
We have been keeping our shop gate open in anticipation of you coming by. We rounded up a 4 lug/stud Mustang II housing that has a pair of axles, 2 backing plates and one pb cable intact and one cut on the end. It will need new axles bearings and some other work. What day are you off during the week that you can come by? Our shop number is 828-6848. TTYL, Greg
