Ok, music is with the age of the listener. Now I know some music transends age but???????????????

If you like Elvis

Try:

Bob Segar
And yes, listen to AC DC for the driving experience
Remember the Fabulous Thunderbirds
CCR
Just go to a source on line and pick classic rock and just listen

Get some Butch Walker and Marvelous 3!

Marvelous 3 album to get would have to be ReadySexGo! Then I would suggest Butch's Left of Self-Centered and Letters!

If you want to hear real alternative music listen to some hardcore punk and screamo (mix of hardcore and emo, fer y'ol' farts who don't know what it is).

AFI, Eighteen Visions, Thrice, My Chemical Romance, Thursday, Beloved, Underoath, Rise Against, Strung Out, Shadows Fall, Atreyu, Killswitch Engage, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Finch, LetterKills, No Motiv, Anti-Flag, The Explosion, Every Time I Die, need I say more......

These are some of the bands I listen to and see at shows all the time.

And in the vein of screamo...don't forget 'Brand New.' I forget the name of their album, but it has some good stuff there...

(BTW, I love how there is a music genre called 'screamo' )

Don't ya hate it when bands get new members and all of a sudden their music changes drastically with their next album as in the case of Underoath? I know they use to sound more metalcore with their old stuff rather than emo with their new album, but I like both old and new Underoath.

BTW....I saw them play in San Diego last Saturday with Coheed and Cambria and they totally rocked the place. Can't say the same for Coheed though cuz the singers voice is too high pitch for me likings. He kinda sounds like Michael Jackson sometimes which gets kinda annoying after a while. UNDEROATH ROCKS!!! :headbang:

Saw Thursday last year in Pomona and it was incredible. I was covered in sweat too after the show and my girlfriend at the time was p'od cuz she lost her cell phone in the crowd, but it was still all worth it. One of the best shows I ever been to.

yea, i lost my glasses at the thursday show. i was lucky they were under my girlfriend. coheed's vocalist reminds me a lot of Geddy Lee from Rush, and Micheal Jackson combined. I actually like his voice a little, its a change of pace from all of those emo/screamo vocalist that sound alike
