Every Journey takes a First Step! We have a Mess in the U.S. My Friends. If I could only persuade 1 person to Change their Attitude about one of the Biggest Purchases they Make which is a car, then they did they same and so on how hard would that be and how effective would that be. Just One! Are you Up to the Challenge. Every Journey takes a First Step. It all Starts with one!

Well I am proud to say I own 3 Fords. And my business owns 3 Fords. And no imports. So I guess I'm doing my part as far as autos go.

Sounds like a good idea but not sure it would work. Imports tend to keep their trade in value higher than domestic (from what I have seen after researching used vehicles). I have 3 cars, all American made, but right now I am not sure my next one will be (although I would love a vette or a Hummer). Like I said before, lower the wages in North America so that the cars we build here are more affordable. If I keep asking for a raise in order to afford another domestic car, my job will most likely be given to someone in India, thus resulting in me having to sell everything.

Well didn't GM take a step yesterday by finally cutting out healthcare for retirees and other measures.

The Point is We Must Do What we Can! If we Only do the Right Thing because Somebody else Does it then we will Never get anywhere. I would Simply Like people to Be Aware that they Can make a difference every day no matter how small the Act. It can be as Simple as the Trip to the Hardware Store for a Tool Etc. IF you Have the Choice of a Tool Made in the USA vs Taiwan Etc. Make a conscious choice. If we all wait for Somebody else to make changes especially the Govt or Big Business we may be waiting a long time. Price is not always indicitive of Value. What is Popular is not always Right and what is Right is not always Popular.
