Listen guys, here's the problem. When this was set up, it was stated that any additional money would go to a TMS sponsor/vendor. People donated with that intent. Everyone displayed not only tremendous generosity, but also trust in sending the money to me to be assured that it gets handled as promised. I'm going to call Brenspeed tomorrow and try and get things arranged. I've been working 12hr days at work so Brent and I may play phone tag trying to get it done, but I need to get the money out of my account and can't wait on PM's from everyone who donated giving unanimous (sp?) consent to distribute their donation any other way. I'm trying to be fair, by being fair... if that makes any sense (these 12hr days are catching up w/ me).
I'll post confirmation when complete. I feel like I'm stuck making a decision between being a jerk to Nate, or being a jerk to everyone who donated. So, in this position I'm going to keep my original promise, I hope people understand and agree with that decision.

 

I agree that's the proper thing to do. I've seen, and experienced, too many times where buying used parts, thinking you were getting a good deal, turned out bad.

 

thats no problem here. it was very gererous of everyone to donate and i appreciate every penny. go ahead and give it to brenspeed, i will work out a deal with them for an intake and tune somehow.

Excellent. If it's cool with you, PM me your phone number and shipping address, that way I can give it to Brenspeed to contact you with. Also, it would help make sure that nobody would be able to 'intercept' the funds.

I agree with 05gt in this completely. He's doing what he said and what he promised.

 

Talked to Brent @ Brenspeed. Money's set, and he too is stepping up and helping out. Nate, give him a call. If I understood him correctly, he's setting up a JLT Intake and Tune package. Although, it was a little hard to hear w/ a v8 ripping up a dyno in the background. Be sure to keep us posted!
