Absolutley. Much of the credit also goes to Faber. Without him starting this thread, this effort might not have gotten started.

 

I'm so glad you guys have done this. Over $300 collected so far, great job. Good to see the Mustang community rally around one of its own fallen members.

Yes, I don't want to forget FABER. You two guys should feel really proud. Way to go you two, and to everyone who has donated so far. Lets keep it going.

 

Just a thought I had. Maybe Nate would like to get a cupholder bezel. If he ever decided to get rid of the car, he could take it out and use it as a picture frame for memories. Maybe a pic of Logan in one circle and a pic of his Mustangs in the other, for example.

I need to get this wrapped up so that I can get the donations to a vendor. I will wait until Friday 8/17/07 for the mail to clear as I know at least one person has said they've mailed a check to me. Nate, I read your post where you said this isn't necessary. We know it's not, but hearing your story and seeing your boy touched us all. We're very sorry for your loss, hope the flowers were beautiful, and hope you purchase something for your car that reminds you of Logan and the support you have from all of us. Finally, thank you for your service to our country. We may have given some money, but you give us and our children pride, protection, and peace. Thank you, and we hope that knowing we care helps you and your wife through this difficult time.

thank you guys so much! it really is a morale boost to know you all care so much. thank you guys for everything you have done so far, and to those of you who still have yet to add to the fund. whatever i plan to do to the mustang i am going to make a plaque and stick it on the car somewhere. i think i want it to say "Donated by members of The Mustang Source in honor of Logan J. Petersen"

its really great of you guys to do this. i will take pride in showing off the car and bragging about the forum here. you guys are the best. ill wait and see what the total comes to and i will try to pick the best mod for the money... i would like your guys input also, since you all helped in paying for it!
