Thumbs down MRT Direct - Problems

Has anyone had problems ordering / receiving shipped stuff from MRT Direct?

It seems like I am 2 for 2 today - first my Bamachips stuff is stolen off my porch, and now MRT Direct has no record of my hood strut order. Of course, my credit card has been charged already, but no one there knows anything about me.

I have called three times, spoken to three different people, all have hemmed and hawed, scratched, and promised me a call back. (which hasn't happened yet).

Just a "buyer beware" note about MRT Direct. Am I the only one that has had problems?

Ask to speak to Scott if you don't get an answer. They are a good company to deal with from my experience.

Thanks.

That's the Cliff Notes version. I can go into detail if needed, but Scott talked to me like I was one of his kids or something. Even the replacement parts had to be hacked and modified to "fit". They still aren't right, but at least usable.

Having dealt a number of times with him personally, I am surprised you said he "whined like a mule" about "hurting his business" or that he would talk to like one of his kids. That sounds very unlike what I have experienced.

What photos did you post?

They were actually pics in a threa din the v6 section of all places (it'd been moved around a couple of times). I was actually asking HOW to adjust them. He was very agitated and quite angry when I spoke to him (whether with me or something else -IDK). The only other person there I spoke to was a younger sounding girl. She was VERY nice. They were quick in sending out the new part, but it still isn't correct. The 2006 model cars had some fitment changes, and their axle-back didn't account for those changes. I took the photos down at his request.

Are you absolutely sure it was Scott and not one of the other staff members? That really does not sound like the kind of interaction I would expect. Thanks!

Oh yes. I talked directly to Scott. I was disappointed to say the least.
