Mozilla FireFox vs Internet Explorer

Has anybody had Microsoft Internet Explorer over run and cancel your Mozilla FireFox? On several occasions this has happened to me. I use Mozillia all the time but will occasionaly open Internet Explorer to use certain web sites activities that demand it. When I return to Mozillia it has lost all my settings and would basically have to start over, and just lately a system restore was rendered useless to correct the problem. I finally got a fix by doing a safe mode boot and doing system restore there. I`m almost sure Microsoft is doing this with spyware or a virus because Mozilla is cutting in on there action.

Does sound like that sort of thing. I have used Firefox for a long while now and never had a problem. I did have something like that a few years ago with IE. If I recall it was a HOST file problem with google.

Its a browser hijack for sure and microsoft is doing it, I can`t believe they can get away with this kind of action. I must add that if I keep a Mozilla window open and open internet explorer in another window there is no problem.

Sorry, but I ain't buying that. I have used, and continue to use both browsers together for years with no problems.

Get a program called Hijack This and run that. A couple years ago someone higjacked my IE and I had to switch to mozilla to keep it from happening. Now I run firefox all the time and I will never go back to IE.

There are forums, like TMS but for computers, where you can post your results and hopefully someone there can have a look and let you now what's up with your computer. Try a google search, there are alot of computer forums out there.
