April as someone who used to attend lan parties, that one sounds lame. But mine were all with co-workers a few jobs back. LAN's can be fun.

 

I agree.............
There are fun ones.
Just not that one.

 

I didn't read all of that cause it just seemed like noise but i used to do lan parties...good stuff... but NO Star Trek stuff....Star Wars of course.... stupid nerds

 

LAN parties I go to usually involve FPS, RTS and alot of smak talk.

What does April go to?

 

I'm a lone wolf. I don't do lan parties cause I am not into playing Battlefield and eating ding dongs and drinking bawls energy drinks.
I play the sims strictly. And as far as I know, they haven't invented a way for them to network yet(sims online doesn't count)

My hubby does. I kept him company for an hour or two the other night while he was attending. I didn't get the excitement.

I have cut back lans to zero since I ordered my car.
One big one once a year we go to in Virginia. 3-400 people and its a blast.

I do admire a nice computer........He has something called a super lan boy rigged up with skull lights. I admit I super REALLY playing games on it. My computer sucks because its my work computer and can't play the sims due to a cruddy video card.
He won some mouse shaped like a pistol. :scratch: We are selling it on Ebay.

It kills me they call their ?whatchamacallits? "Clans"

That computer is very cool.

 

Ah...I don't go to public events. Me and 6-8 buddies hook up and we game at someone's house.

DP, Queso and Krispy Kremes fuel us. The smak talk is really what makes it fun.
